Glamping Hire Co works on Wellness
I am so very lucky to be able to do what I do. I love my bell tents. I love creating amazing villages, I’m kind of like a town planner for tents! However, like many women out there, I need help to keep a good positive mindset in my business.
Only being in business for a short time, there are still so many things I need to learn to keep me from feeling overwhelmed and to keep my mindset in check. Kim Guthrie from Working on Wellness is one of those people, helping me on my journey to self-success. Kim works with women in business experiencing overwhelm with health issues, mainly thyroid issues such as Hashimoto’s, an autoimmune condition.
As soon as I heard Kim speak at a networking event, I knew I just had to meet her.
Kim and I have been friends for a while now and she has helped me with a plethora of issues ranging from self-motivation to diet. Kim and I discuss topics such as what I am focused on, and how do I respond instead of reacting to certain situations? It’s amazing how you can connect and heal through conversation.
We can talk about food and what effects that has on our biochemistry. We can talk about music and the neurological effects that it has on us. We’ve even chatted about our childhood dreams of tap dancing, and what effects that can have on our minds and bodies.
I found that when I joined Kim's program meeting her once a week to discuss the basics was so beneficial. What was I eating? What was I thinking? What was I doing? and last but certainly not least, what do I want? It gave me an outlet to express the fears I had with my business and how to regain the clarity that I needed to forge ahead.
I'm a mum, a wife, a business owner, a friend. It's hard sometimes to juggle all the expectations that are required. It's from this that Kim and I have been talking about how other women cope in this same situation and more than ever now with our current health crisis. It's so great that Kim is online. You don't have to meet in person, you can zoom directly. It's so easy.
You'll have to watch this space as my journey continues with Kim. She has been a significant help in my life, not only health-wise but also in helping me tighten up my business process. Check out Kim here www.workingonwellness.com.au to find out the whole story of how Kim started her business and why. I know for one, that she has helped me immensely start to understand how to manage my personal and business lives.
Stick around to read more of my blogs. During this downtime practicing my writing skills (something I've wanted to develop for a long time) publishing blogs, and notes of appreciation to all the people and businesses that have helped me over the past couple of years. I want to spend my time sharing my stories and connections about the women who are supporting me on my journey and how I can support others. Trust me there are some spectacular humans out there that truly just want to help.
